This is a slightly different episode. Rather than a deep-dive on a single subject, we’re turning the spotlight onto one of the most important dates in the European customer contact calendar – the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards, better known as the ECCCSAs.
Now in their 26th year, they’re the longest running and largest awards programme in our industry across the continent, and they’re a programme the CCMA is proud to sit alongside as an association partner.
The reason for the timing of this episode is important. Entries for the 2026 awards close on Friday 17 July — so if you’re listening to this thinking about putting your team, your operation or your organisation forward, this is genuinely the moment to act.
In this episode, Director of Operations, Jackie Pringle talks through the ECCCSAs at 26, why it’s often referred to as ‘the Oscars of European customer contact awards’ , the process of entering, what good looks like, the importance of the independent and rigorous judging process, and why you should enter.
“Don’t let the scale or the size of the ECCCSAs put you off,” says Jackie. “Whether small or large, in-house or outsourced, have support teams alongside you or doing it yourself, if you think you are doing something amazing, you probably are, wherever you are in Europe.”
